Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Mortgage and Equity Release Adviser to work in this head office role as a Sales Development Consultant, you will be tasked to call existing brokers and financial advisers to potentially generate further business from them and in some cases remind them about the organisation and update them on different products.

To be responsible, with the Key Account Director where appropriate, for obtaining business from a pre-defined panel of introducers

To maintain a high degree of proactive contact with introducers to secure new opportunities and increased level of quotations issued, driven through outbound calling in accordance with plans agreed by the job holder, the Sales Manager and where appropriate, the Key Account Director.

To assist in the agreement and implementation of an operating plan with the Key Account Director (as appropriate) and the Sales Manager. To assist in the monitoring of the plan and ensure that any required corrective action is taken as necessary to ensure successful achievement of plan.

To maintain and exceed minimum expected levels of activity, notably telephony activity, in line with department guidelines. To work within expected service level agreements as agreed with Sales Manager

To attend key external Intermediary facing events in order to pro-actively interact with attendees to build awareness of our proposition, products and services and to gain valuable market insight. The role holder would be expected to attend a key external event at a rate of approximately one per quarter

To lead in self-development and progression through the Sales Development Path (from Foundation through to Mastery). To work with our Sales Coach and our Call Competency Framework to accelerate learning

To build strong and productive working relationships with both sales and administration staff at all accounts

You will be expected to contact around 8 introducers per day from a client list in excess of 3,000.
